Elastic Rail Clip Manufacturing Process

AGICO uses high-quality spring steel, such as 60Si2Mn and 60Si2MnA. This type of steel has high strength and good fatigue resistance. Every batch of steel must undergo quality inspection upon arrival.

The large coils of steel are straightened and peeled to remove the surface oxide scale. According to the product design requirements, the steel is drawn and processed to the required diameter.

At room temperature, steel is bent into a designed shape using a professional CNC bending machine.

Quenching: Heat the molded rail clips to 850-950°C, then immerse them in oil or other cooling medium. This allows railroad rail clips to have higher rigidity and strength.
Tempering: The quenched railroad rail clips are reheated to 400-500°C and held at that temperature for a period of time. This can improve the toughness and plasticity of railroad rail clips.

To withstand harsh outdoor environments, railroad rail clips must undergo anti-corrosion treatment. It can be plain, HDG, or electric static coating. Customization is also available based on customer needs.

Finally, the finished railroad rail clips undergo rigorous quality inspection, including dimensional inspection, fatigue testing, buckle pressure testing, and appearance inspection. Ensure that all products leaving the factory meet the standards.

Electric static coating, along with rail spikes, rail bolts, rail nuts, etc., will be assembled into a complete fastening system. They can also be packaged individually. Packaging methods include woven bags and wooden crates.
